Dr. John Sherwood, DMD PC, is an experienced dentist who has been serving residents of Palmerton and throughout Carbon County and Pennsylvania since 1986.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from King’s College in 1982. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in 1986, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class as a member of Omega Kappa Upsilon honor society.

Dr. Sherwood completed his general practice residency, with experience in emergency dentistry and emergency anesthesia, with the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1986.

He has demonstrated his commitment to Carbon County and surrounding areas through an entire career of dentistry in the area. Dr. Sherwood also stays up to date on the latest dental techniques and technology by taking continuing education classes in many different aspects of dentistry each year.
